Common questions
Does CI Optimizer change my workflows?
No. It reads existing history and suggests changes for you to review. You decide what to apply. It never starts jobs or edits your workflows.
Do I need to connect GitHub?
No. You can analyze existing history, billing or workflow files locally in your browser. File tools are available from the setup page. Connecting GitHub lets you read history directly from your repositories.
How are savings calculated?
Estimates use the available job history and the changes you choose to model. Money estimates also need billing data or a rate you provide. A before-and-after comparison shows how recorded CI time changed; it does not by itself prove a lower bill. When the data is incomplete, the result explains the limits.
What is the difference between Free and Pro?
Free is planned for understanding CI spending and estimating possible savings. Pro is planned for more detailed suggestions, multiple projects and comparing results over time. All existing tools are free during this preview; paid access and checkout are not available yet. See the planned Free and Pro plans.
What data is stored?
Imported files are processed in your browser. This site stores your account, encrypted GitHub token, saved projects, and the analysis summaries, estimates and follow-up settings you choose to save. Saving a summary does not upload the original imported files. Removing your GitHub connection does not delete saved analyses.
